Now we want to strengthen our Azure cloud professionals' team with Azure Architect(s) and invite you to join Makers of sustainable future! Sustainability is one of our key principles and for example, we have partnered with the Exponential Roadmap Initiative and joined Race to Zero and signed Microsoft's Partner Pledge.

As an Azure Architect, you will build, implement, maintain and develop further new, and sustainable cloud services for a wide range of different kind of clients. Our clientele includes significant organizations such as Valmet, S Group, Paulig and Varma (case study example).

What is the role about?

Role involves strategizing and planning future technological advancements, planning environments that support evolving business needs, and driving innovation through the adoption of emerging cloud technologies. You will be instrumental in developing disaster recovery and high availability strategies specifically tailored for containerized applications, guiding seamless migrations, and optimizing system performance to meet both current and future challenges. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to collaborate with diverse clients across various industries, providing strategic direction and technical leadership to leverage container technology for transformative business outcomes.

Building service entities based on Microsoft Azure cloud architectures take shape from definition to design, and all the way to development and deployment. You'll be a part of client team(s) surrounded by other skilled Azure experts working together in the core of both technology and our clients' business. What do we expect from you?

In addition to the Maker mindset, we expect you to have an inherent interest in grasping the technical side of Azure as well. All our Azure professionals' common thing is that they can execute "hands-on" technical work when needed. You are also able to communicate fluently with people in different roles in Finnish and in English. As an Architect you lead the technical direction and support other consultants in the client team.

There are different priorities, in which your core skills may be, and we are curious and open to learn your unique path.

Our requirements for the Azure Architect role:

  • More than 2 years of proven experience with Azure infrastructure designing and implementing. You have experience in implementing Landing zone and Cloud Adoption Framework (incl. Cloud Governance, Azure policies) for Azure infrastructure containing several Subscriptions.
  • Infrastructure as a code (IaC) experience 2 or more years

Below are aspects and directions of your interest which can guide and define your role as an Azure Architect in our team:

  • DevOps mindset; You understand modern ways of setting things up with native tools and code, and you find ways to automate (from infrastructure to business logic).
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in implementing and managing security practices, including network policies and security contexts, with a strong understanding of Azure security tools like Defender for Cloud
  • Migrations and Modernization
  • Infrastructure as a code experience with Azure Bicep or Terraform
