Knowit Data & Analytics unit focuses on data processing, analysis, and storage in collaboration with our clients. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team!

What the role is about

Your workdays will be filled with interesting client projects, including tasks such as iterating requirements with our clients, modelling data for end users, and creating valuable insights for decisions makers.

You will work as part of our clients' data team, supporting them in utilizing solutions and participating in best practice sharing with your expertise. The highlight of this job is the diverse and interesting range of clients we serve, representing various industries and organizations such as Valmet, Nordic Lights and Tammer Brands.

As a team, we collaborate and constantly improve our operations (such as DataOps thinking) by networking across different fields with colleagues to innovate and discover the best practices and technologies that benefit our clients.

What do we expect from you

• A strong understanding of Modern Data Stack trends, the courage to look ahead and challenge the past, as well as the ability to design solutions that meet our clients' data and business needs.
• Several years of hands-on expertise from Tableau/dbt in enterprise companies or/and high-volume data environments
• Comprehensive experience in data processing and best practice understanding about data modelling. As you will have a visible role in client interaction, you should enjoy solving data management challenges and collaborating with clients and the team.
• Ability to present and communicate insights, best practices and technical solutions to both tech and non-tech stakeholders. Your role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Finnish and English
