ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in English
ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate - course is intended for IT professionals involved in software testing who would like to gain an internationally accepted qualification in software testing.
After completing the course you can handle the basic terminology of testing and are aware of techniques and standards. You know different testing tools and are aware of what testing tools can achieve. You know where to find more information about testing and how to establish the basic steps of the testing process.
In the current market place employers and clients appreciate or require certificates as a proof of professional competency. The ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing gives that assurance to the other party, as the certification exam assesses your knowledge in software testing.
The ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate is an international qualification in software testing coordinated by the International Software Quality Testing Board (ISTQB) and organized in Finland by the Finnish Software Testing Board (FiSTB). The Foundation Certificate is awarded to those who pass a written one-hour multiple-choice exam.
A good knowledge of English is required from the participants. This course is the first level of the three levels in the software testing program.
The course is delivered with Grove Consultants’ English material and presented in English. The certification exam is in English or Finnish. Knowit Oy is an acknowledged ISTQB/ISEB-trainer by the FiSTB, which is part of the the Finnish Information Processing Association, FIPA. Grove Consultants is acknowledged ISTQB/ISEB-trainer by British Computer Society (BCS/ISEB).
The course coaches the participant for the ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate examination, which can optionally be taken after the course. Cost of the exam is 150 €. A binding registration is needed for the exam at least three weeks before the event, thus please inform us about your wish to participate in the exam already when signing up for the course.
